Detecto 6855 Waist-High Stand-On Scale Full Description
The 6855 Portable High Capacity Digital Scale is specifically designed for obese and unsteady patients. This 600 pound capacity scale is heavy-duty, yet light-weight and easy to transport, even through a 30 inch door. In addition to the rugged, stainless steel handrail, patients appreciate the security of a large, 14 inch by 18 inch low profile weighing platform only 1 3/4 inches height. The weighing surface is covered with a non-slip rubber mat to further promote comfort and security during weighing. The weighing platform is rigid, which provides reassurance to patients while stepping on and off the scale. The .7" high, LCD weight display is mounted on top of the pillar and can be rotated to virtually any position for easy viewing. Weight is automatically locked when stabilized and is displayed to the nearest .2 lb. or .1 kilo. This scale operates on its own self-contained "D" size Alkaline batteries and an optional power adapter for long term, stationary operation is available.
