About the Editor
Lee E. Brown is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS)through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is on theNSCA board of directors. He is also a certified health fitness instructorthrough the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and a certified clubcoach by USA Weightlifting Federation (USAWF). Brown holds a masters degreein exercise science from Florida Atlantic University, and he expects to receivea doctorate in educational leadership from the same institution in the summer of2000. Formerly a high school physical education teacher and coach of manysports, Brown now teaches advanced strength and conditioning courses and servesas a health sciences lab coordinator at Florida Atlantic University. He lives inCoconut Creek, Florida.
Vance Ferrigno is the director of fitness and aquatics at WoodfieldCountry Club in Boca Raton, Florida. In addition, he has been a strength andconditioning consultant to professional and amateur athletes since 1990.
